Isolated Showers

The first thing to catch my eye as we stopped at Grange Bay was the ugly blot on the horizon — a rain storm at sea. It seemed totally out of place against the bright, blue skies and fluffy, white, fair weather cumulus all around.

And yes, it was that deserted. Two people on the entire beach.

Wonderful! Really contrasting with the calm sea. Beautiful colors. I never managed to take a decent picture of an isolated rain showers

Maersu, you're quite right, that is indeed someone swimming. Miles, Andréas and Massimo, thanks for stopping by as always.

That's really impressing! The contrast between the calm scenery and the rain storm is eye-catching!

Fantastic! As you say, it is quite striking the incongruity of this storm with the rest of the sky so clear, and sunny. Which makes the photo really unique. I have seen similar phenomena (albeit not so dramatic) over and over, but I have never captured one so well.
