Grange Bay

Grange Bay

Grange Bay is nestled between Buccoo Bay and Stonehaven Beach. It's an unpretentious beach, situated literally at the side of the road. Only a narrow grassy berm and a low seawall separate asphalt from sand. Still, after driving through the golf course, it's quite a breathtaking sight to suddenly come upon this crescent of sand seemingly inches away from your car window.

On the horizon the outcropping of rock is Booby Point, which separates Buccoo Bay from Grange, and the rock off shore is Wolf Rock.

The Tobago House of Assembly Department of Tourism has posted a prominent sign at the beach cautioning visitors that the beach is not patrolled by lifeguards, and that there are currents present in the water. So basically, bathe at your own risk. Still, who can resist a quick dip?
