Coconut Trees at Maracas
September 07, 2003
Maracas is probably the most popular beach in Trinidad, due in large part to its proximity to Port of Spain. It's an easy 25-30 minute drive through the Northern Range to get there.
I took this photo on one of our mid-afternoon trips. I liked how the sun brought out the colours of the coconut trees, making them stand out against the darker background of the mountain.

those coconut trees a nice but you should get a photo some in Las Quevas
Your photo is first class. Maracas looks more beautiful than it is!
We have plenty of cocnut trees here in Asia but i have never seen them so beautifully photographed before. This photo made me oh so sentimental for all my lazy beach holidays before children!
