The House That Time Forgot

Nestled in a quiet corner of Tunapuna, a stone's throw from the Priority Bus Route, this little old house has watched the decades go by. One taxi driver estimates its age as “a hundred and change” and says the owners have since moved on to a newer, more modern building. Apparently it's being renovated, but the evidence says otherwise. The entire western side is covered in thick vines and shreds of long-forgotten curtains flutter in the front window behind broken panes.

How long, one wonders, before this little piece of history will disappear, destroyed by vandals or broken down to make way for a shiny new structure.
