Scotia Headquarters
May 15, 2005
In a slight departure from the historical buildings and crumbling houses normally featured on this site, the Scotia Bank head office on Richmond Street is an example of the newer breed of commercial buildings which have sprung up throughout Port of Spain in the past 10-15 years.
Some may say the concrete facade represents the solidity and stability of the bank. Others may find it rather cold and heartless — also traits that local banks notoriously possess. Or repossess?

Great architectural shot. The rising lines of the building go well against the dark blue sky.
