As part of the Government's Vision 2020 plan, the city of Port of Spain is undergoing some extensive modernisation and urban rehabilitation and redevelopment work.

Richmond Street in particular is receiving a major facelift, with two new 20-plus storey structures currently under construction. Both structures seem to be at roughly the same stage of development, with the steel skeleton in place, but probably not yet completed. I think the projected completion date for these projects is late 2006 to early 2007.
