National Museum

Originally the Victoria Institute (and later the Royal Victoria Institute), the National Museum and Art Gallery of Trinidad & Tobago was reopened in 1923 after being destroyed by fire in 1920.

This photo, taken from a first floor window, facing roughly southeast, shows the southwestern corner of the main building, seemingly framed by dark clouds — we actually got rained on while heading to the museum!
