Woodbrook is home to many fine old houses. The area is primarily residential however in recent years commercial interests have been buying up property and creeping into the neighbourhood, to the disgust of long time residents.

On Carlos Street, where this photo was taken, there are several lovely refurbished houses that retain much of their colonial charm.
